Frank Hilton Organisation goes digital to enhance support for children with disabilities

The Frank Hilton Organisation is going digital after the launch of their new Client Information Management System or CiviCRM, which will make managing and accessing their data and records easier.

Frank Hilton Organisation CEO, Sureni Perera says they have made many strides in developing support networks for children with disabilities in Fiji and their families.

She says their aim is to be a centre of excellence, so it is important for them to know who to support, when to respond on indicators nationally and administratively as well.

The CEO says a long felt need for them was to better manage their data with over 3,000 records of children who have come into their service.

She says as a civil society organisation, they take pride in being the first to adapt an information management system to increase the efficiency of the work they do.

Perera says with CiviCRM, when they enter a child into the system and set up a schedule, they work in accordance with an individual plan, and when it comes to an activity that needs to be done, it will give them alerts.

She says the system will automate the workflows and keep their service providers on their feet, and make sure they keep up with the program they have designed for that child.
