U20 Head Coach Ifereimi Rawaqa.

Former Suva Grammar School student and current Stade Francais Academy player Janeiro Wakeham has been named in the Vodafone Fiji Under-20 squad with Bordeaux Begles player Petero Malulu.

Also joining Wakeham in the squad to play in the Oceania Championships are the Baselala and Canberra based Tudulu brothers. Luke Tudulu is at tight-head prop, Waisea Tudulu is at loose forward, Benji Baselala at hooker and Philip Baselala at halfback.

Due to the pandemic all the players that were part of the Under-20 squad had moved on to the senior teams, so coach Ifereimi Rawaqa and his team had to start from scratch.

What started out as a squad of 100 players at the beginning of the year has now been cut down to 29 players.

The team will face off against New Zealand, Australia and Argentina in the Sunshine Coast, Australia.

The Vodafone Fiji Under-20 side will play New Zealand next Friday. They will take on Australia on 5th July and Argentina on 10th July.
