Four players with links to Fiji are named in the Wallabies team to take on South Africa in the Rugby Championship.

They are two-time John Eales Medallist, Marika Koroibete, Filipo Daugunu, Seru Uru and Rob Valetini.

Wallabies head coach Joe Schmidt says there was plenty of discussion among the coaches but they are hopeful that the squad selected will embrace the challenge of playing South Africa over the next fortnight or so.

Schmidt says they know there is a lot of hard work ahead of those test matches and they are looking forward to getting back together as a group on Saturday.

The forwards are Allan Alaalatoa, Angus Bell, Angus Blyth, Matt Faessler, Nick Frost, Tom Hooper, Isaac Kailea, Josh Nasser, Zane Nonggorr, Billy Pollard, Luke Reimer, Lukhan Salakaia-Loto, James Slipper, Carlo Tizzano, Taniela Tupou, Jeremy Williams, Harry Wilson.

The backline includes Ben Donaldson, Josh Flook, Jake Gordon, Len Ikitau, Max Jorgensen, Andrew Kellaway, Noah Lolesio, Tom Lynagh, Hunter Paisami, Hamish Stewart, Corey Toole, Nic White, Tom Wright.

The Wallabies will take on South Africa at Suncorp Stadium at 4.30pm next Saturday while the All Blacks will take on Argentina at 7.05pm in Wellington.
