Former All Black Pita Gus Sowakula, Atu Sokobale and Tim Hoyt are the three debutants that have been named in the FIJI Water Flying Fijians team for the November tour to Europe.

Tim Hoyt has played for top clubs in England, and is currently playing for the Leicester Tigers.

Atu Sokobale is the younger brother of former sevens Olympian Savenaca Rawaca and plays for Castres in France.

Coach Mick Byrne has named a solid team with a mixture of youth and experienced players donning the white jersey for this tour.

Byrne says the selection was tough but the players were chosen on form and availability.

Haereiti Hetet, Mesake Doge, Eroni Mawi, Samuela Tawake, Tim Hoyt, Tevita Ikanivere, Zuriel Togiatama and Kavaia Tagivetaua are in the forwards.

Isoa Nasilasila, Mesake Vocevoce, Temo Mayanavanua, Setareki Turagacoke, Lekima Tagitagivalu, Elia Canakaivata, Viliame Mata, Motikiai Murray and Pita Gus Sowakula make the loose forwards.

Simone Kuruvoli and Philip Baselala together with Sam Wye make up the scrumhalf position.

Caleb Muntz, Isaiah Armstrong Ravula, Josua Tuisova, Vilimoni Botitu, Sireli Maqala, Kalaveti Ravouvou, Jiuta Wainiqolo, Selestino Ravutaumada, Ponipate Loganimasi, Salesi Rayawa, and Iosefo Masi make up the remaining backs.

Byrne says the players were selected on flexibility and they have enough depth to have a good tournament.

Fiji will play England in the first match on Sunday November 9th at Allianz Stadium in London at 5.40am.
