Food packs and other essential items have been distributed to families in Lakeba, Lau affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
The team that was deployed to Lakeba to assist families included the government officials, and a team from the RFMF and Fiji Red Cross team.
The Fiji Red Cross teams delivered hygiene kits, tool kits, tarpaulins and dishes while the RFMF delivered food rations.
Most of the houses on the island suffered severe damages.
Damage assessments were also carried out.
