Defending Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s champions Wardens kicked off their Fiji Bitter Yalovata 7s campaign on a high after thumping Yalovata Brothers 26-0 in their pool A clash this morning.

The side have sent out a stern warning to the other teams with that performance and will be looking to set the platform for the tournament after that win.

In other results in the men's competition, Nasinu Rugby beat Veilomani Brothers 12-0, Navy Fresh'et beat Waqavuka 7s 12-0, Lavidi Brothers defeated Marist 24-0, and Mataravua beat Yalovata 7-0.

Looking at the other results in the U21 category, St John Lomary defeated Aqua Pro Savuiqali 14-0, Village Boys beat Nuku Rugby 19-0, Waidalice beat Yalovata 10-0, Birdland Pro beat Nailega Babas 19-0, Navakawau beat Habour Sharks 14-0, Waqavuka edged Marist 5-0 and JQ Brothers drew 5-all with St John Draiba.
