The Fiji Water Flying Fijians 23-member squad that will face the Wallabies this Sunday will be named at 4.07pm today.

Coach Mick Byrne named a 32-member squad for the Wallabies and Scotland test matches last month.

The 32-member squad consist of 13 players from the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, 10 players based in France, 5 players based in England, and 1 player from New Zealand (Hawke’s Bay).

Some key inclusions include Viliame Mata (Bristol), Josua Tuisova (Racing 92), Sireli Maqala (Bayonne), veteran forwards Eroni Mawi (Saracens), Samuel Matavesi (Lyon), Albert Tuisue, local talents such as Tevita Ikanivere, Caleb Muntz, and Iosefo Masi.

Ikanivere will captain the side in place of former skipper Waisea Nayacalevu, who announced his retirement from international rugby early last month.

The Flying Fijians will face the Wallabies at 3.30pm this Sunday at the Newcastle International Sports Centre.

They will then take on Scotland next Saturday at 3pm at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
