The FIJI Water Flying Fijians have officially entered camp as they gear up for their first Test match in the 2025 Pacific Nations Cup against Tonga next Saturday.
This is their final home Test of the year before they travel to New Zealand to face Samoa at Rotorua International Stadium.
Head coach Mick Byrne has named a strong 30-man squad, though star centre Semi Radradra has been ruled out due to injury making way for Joji Nasova, the FIJI Airways Fiji 7s representative and new Fijian Drua signing, who will face stiff competition in a stacked backline.
Three uncapped players—Isoa Tuwai, Taniela Rakuro, and Tuidraki Samusamuvodre—have also been included, adding fresh energy to a squad brimming with seasoned campaigners.
Their potential debuts could inject further firepower into a team that has dominated the PNC, winning the tournament for the past two years.
With the guidance of senior players, expectations are high for another strong showing in the PNC.
Fans will be eager to see if the Flying Fijians can maintain their regional dominance, starting with a commanding performance against Tonga later this month.
Fiji plays Tonga at 3pm next Saturday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
