FIJI Water Flying Fijians squad members, Philip Baselala, Simione Kuruvoli, Motikiai Murray, and Kavaia Tagivetaua will miss this week’s much-anticipated Skipper Cup semi-finals as they depart for England on Thursday for the Northern Tour.
The Naitasiri management has confirmed that replacement players are ready to step in for the national reps once they leave.
Both Flying Fijians half-backs, Baselala for Naitasiri and Kuruvoli for Tailevu were standout performers in last week’s quarter-finals.
Naitasiri will face Tailevu in one semi-final, while Malolo, who shocked defending champions Nadroga 23-22, will take on Nadi in the second semi.
The venues for the semi-finals are yet to be confirmed.
