It was the first time that Fiji Airways Flying Fijians hopeful Sam Matavesi trained at the Sigatoka Sand Dunes yesterday.

Matavesi who plays as a hooker says it was very tough, they had to warm up where they had four sets, up and down the hill and his legs were done.

He says it was good to test themselves after a weeks training and after the session every‑one was tired but were together which is good.

Coach John McKee has been impressed seeing the level of commitments the players have put in during the first week in camp.

The Flying Fijians broke camp yesterday and will gather again tomorrow in Suva.

Fiji plays the Maori All Blacks at 3pm next Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary of the match on our sister station, Viti FM.
