Flying Fijians are disappointed but hoping for better performance against France

It has been a demanding few days for the players after the game against England over the weekend and they are still disappointed about the loss.

This was shared by FIJI Water Flying Fijians Attacking Coach Aaron Mauger from France.

The former All Blacks and Crusaders inside centre says there are plenty of positives to take from their performance, and the team is going toe to toe with one of the top four sides in the world.

Mauger says they just need sharper execution in critical areas of the field.

He adds that while they are in a good place overall, there is still disappointment over not being able to close out the match, having let it slip away in the final ten minutes.

Mauger says they have reviewed their performance after travelling on Sunday and had another productive day today as they prepare for the battle against France this week.

Fiji will face France in Bordeaux at 8.10am on Sunday.
