A flash flood warning remains in force for flood prone areas, small streams and low lying crossings for Viti Levu and Vanua Levu.

A flood warning is now in force for low lying and flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Nakauvadra at Rakiraki Town, Ba FSC area and Tuva area in Sigatoka.

A flood alert remains in force for the low lying and flood prone areas adjacent to and downstream of Nasivi River in Tavua, Navala River, Nadi Back Road Bridge, and near the Nawaka Pumping Station.

Due to the rising water levels in these rivers, coupled with the expected heavy rain coinciding with high tide, there is heightened potential for flooding in these catchments.

Significant amount of rainfall has been received in the past 24 hours. Most of the areas have received 80 to more than 100 millimetres of rainfall.

Station rainfall (mm) Nagado 80.5 Navala 102.5 Waikubukubu 93.5 Toge 106.0 Nabukaluka 83.5 Viwa 91.5 Rarawai 108.0 Nadarivatu 117.5 Sigatoka 83.5 Korolevu 116.0 Navua 104.5 Tavua 107.5 Penang 79.5 Monasavu 90.0 Nacocolevu 103.5
