Five players will make their first appearance for the Vodafone Flying Fijians as they have been named in the 23-member team that will face Spain in their first Autumn Test this Sunday.

The five debutants are Olympic gold medalist Aminiasi Tuimaba, Jiuta Wainiqolo, Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Vilimoni Botitu and Stade Francais hooker Henry Spring.

Tuimaba, Wainiqolo and Botitu have been named in the starting 15 while Dakuwaqa and Spring are on the bench.

Waisea Nayacalevu has been given the captaincy role after robust centre Levani Botia was sidelined as he will undergo a knee operation this month and will not be part of the tour.

Other players included in the team are Eroni Mawi, Sam Matavesi, Leone Nakarawa, Mesulame Kunavula, Ben Volavola, Setareki Tuicuvu, Viliame Mata, Josua Tuisova and Eroni Sau.

Fiji meets Spain at 3am Sunday.

In other test matches this week, Japan will face Ireland at 1am Sunday and New Zealand will meet Italy at 1am Sunday.
