The first Super 7s Series will be held from the 3rd to the 5th of next month in Nadi.

Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O'Connor has confirmed that the 2022 Fiji Super 7s Series will have five tournaments compared to four played last year.

O'Connor says the 5th and final leg of the Series will be played in Labasa.

He says this will assist in the preparation of the national 7s team for the Commonwealth Games in England and the Rugby 7s World Cup in South Africa.

He also confirmed that once all the Fiji national 7s players are cleared from isolation, they will return to train safely with their respective Clubs in preparation of the deferred Fun Flavor Super 7s Series next month.

Meanwhile, the Fiji National Sports Commission Executive Chairman, Peter Mazey says there will be no spectators, no unvaccinated athlete or official, no unvaccinated children and no inter-island travel for tournaments and competitions.

Mazey says there are hefty fines for any spectator who suddenly appears in the embankment or inside the venue during an event.
