First 5 tournaments for 2024/2025 7s Series confirmed starting with Dubai in Nov

The first five destinations and dates of the highly anticipated HSBC SVNS 2024/2025 have been confirmed by World Rugby, with the Series kicking off at the Sevens Stadium in Dubai on 30th November and 1st December.

The second tournament will be the Cape Town 7s and will be held on the 7th and 8th of December, followed by the Perth 7s in Australia from the 24th to the 26th of January 2025.

The competition will then move to Canada for the Vancouver 7s from the 21st to the 23rd of February 2025, while the Hong Kong 7s will take place from the 28th to the 30th of March.

The remaining HSBC SVNS 2025 events, including the Grand Final, will be confirmed in due course.

There will be three new teams competing in the 2025 7s Series as the Kenya and Uruguay men's teams and China women's team, secured promotion from the HSBC Sevens Challenger with their victories at the 2024 promotion and relegation play-off in Madrid.

The women’s participating teams are New Zealand, Australia, France, the USA, Canada, Fiji, Ireland, Great Britain, Japan, Brazil, Spain and China.

The men’s teams roster includes Fiji, Argentina, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, France, South Africa, Great Britain, the USA, Spain, Uruguay and Kenya.
