The Fire team scooped top honours in the men’s competition of the Fiji Bitter Nahehevia 7s, after defeating Lavidi Brothers 17-12 in a thrilling final.
Fire Head Coach Akuila Nasi says the win is for all the firefighters and their families.
Nasi says hard work has paid off for his team members and he continues to encourage them to do better in all tournaments.
The side created a major upset earlier by defeating the Fiji Babas in the semi finals.
In other results, Mount Masada beat Navy to win the women’s final. The Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s starts on Friday.
