Fire at MH Warehouse in Walu Bay

Fire at MH Warehouse in Walu Bay

Firefighters are currently trying to put out a major fire at MH Warehouse in Walu Bay.

They are also trying to stop the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.

Police are also at the scene.

Meanwhile police have sealed off both roads from Suva to Walu Bay and from Lami into Walu Bay due to the fire.

 

People are to use the Reservoir Road and Edinburgh Drive to go to Suva or Lami.

Acting ACP Maretino Qiolevu states that people who want to go to the Narain Jetty are to wait till authorities declare the area safe.
