The final journey home of VITIFM personality, Paula Roko Nabuta fondly known as ‘Ouch Mama’ starts this evening.

Roko’s funeral cortege will leave CWM Hospital Mortuary at 6.40pm.

For those who want to say their final goodbyes to Ouch Mama, the cortege will stop at the home of VITIFM at 231 Waimanu Road before going along Suva Street, Brown Street, Milverton Road, onto Grantham Road and then Ratu Mara Road along Kings Highway to his home in Newtown.

The funeral service will start at 10am tomorrow at Saint Mark Anglican Church in Balabala Crescent, Newtown.

Roko will be laid to rest in the Newtown Community Cemetery.

35 year old Roko, who passed away after a long battle with sickness, will always be remembered for brightening everyone’s day with his infectious fun and humour.

He started in 2017 as a Total Event Company crew member and then became noticed as being full of humour and the life of the party.

He later became part of the VITIFM Breakfast Show with Maikeli Radua who passed away recently.
