Making history one beat at time as Fiji’s first ever female band “Marama” will rock the stage at the Miss Hibiscus Festival tonight.

The band has been formed under the guidance of Apakuki Nalawa (KUKI) who is the Managing Director of Resonance Entertainment.

The Marama band members say they will give their best shot tonight and call on people to come out in numbers to watch them live for first time.

The band members include Vocalist and Guitarist DeeVa, Drummer Teagan, Vocalist Marilyn, Vocalist Guitarist and Keyboard Player Naomi, Semi-Acoustic Guitarist Kula and Bass Guitarist Elaine.

Today is day 7 of the Miss Hibiscus Festival.

The Resonance Concert will close the entertainment from 8pm to 10pm with their singers Fo Sho featuring Saimoni Vuatalevu.

The female band will perform on the tomorrow from 8pm to 10pm at the main stage.
