President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere

President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere says Fijians should keep the interest of the country paramount to further our shared vision and mission to build a united Fiji for everyone.

In his Christmas message, Ratu Wiliame says the birth of Christ is synonymous with love, joy, giving, sharing and family, which is a suitable antidote for the many adversities we face in the world today.

He hopes that Fijians will use this season as an opportunity to renew friendships and share with the less fortunate in the communities.

He adds as we draw nearer to the end of 2022, we should reflect on the years that have passed as we rebuild our economy after closures and restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also congratulated Sitiveni Rabuka on his new appointment as the Prime Minister and the new government that will lead the nation in the next 4 years.

The President also acknowledged the services of the FijiFirst Party and its leader Voreqe Bainimarama.
