Fijians living in Tovata, Makoi, Cunningham and Tacirua areas are advised to store water

Fijians living in Tovata, Makoi, Kalabu, Caubati village, Tacirua East, Cunningham, Tacirua East, parts of Cunningham and Tacirua are advised to store water after the Water Authority of Fiji says they are experiencing low reservoir levels due to a planned power outage at the Tovata booster pump station today.

WAF says their teams have fully restored service to their Tovata booster pump and are currently working on filling up their reservoirs and are working hard to restore services to areas affected either tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Customers will experience water supply issues in areas in the Upper Makoi, Kaliveitau, No Inflow to Nagatugatu, Veitata, Tovata Road, Qaranivalu, Lomalagi, Vula, Poorva, Sabera, Peela, Caubati Koro, Daniva, Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East, Cunningham (Valley Drive) and Sulua Street.

Wrong Turn, Sakoca, Upper Khalsa, Tacirua Heights, Nagatugatu Residents, Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg, Deovji Street Tacirua Bus, Amputch Street, Princes Road, Seventh Day Church Dokanaisuva to Tacirua Fijian School and Vunuleba Settlement.

Customers are advised to call 5777 if water carts are needed.
