The Rooster Chicken Fijiana 15s team has moved up 5 places in the rankings from 21st to 16th after defeating South Africa 21-17 in the Women’s Rugby World Cup yesterday.

Captain Asinate Serevi says winning their first game in the World Cup has meant the world to them.

Serevi says winning a game for their country is like winning the World Cup.

Player of the Match Siteri Rasolea says her teammates played with their hearts and dug deep to win their first game against South Africa.

Rasolea says they played for their teammates who were not selected and those that couldn't make the team.

She adds they were grateful that they managed to get their first win in their first Women's Rugby World Cup.

Rooster Chicken Fijiana 15s will face France this Saturday at 6.15pm.
