Former international referee, Alain Rolland overseeing the Fijiana 15s players during their training session today.

The Rooster Chicken Fijiana 15s players got some useful tips from former international referee, Alain Rolland as they get ready for their clash against the third ranked Canadian side in Suva on Friday.

Fijiana lock, Asinate Serevi says they are paying attention to Rolland's advice on catches, passing, and connecting as a team in order to have a dominant finish.

This technical assistance will help to minimize penalties during the game.

Rolland says the team is enthusiastic.

He says the work he does with World Rugby is to make the team understand the laws from the referee’s point of view and also to make the girls understand not to be the target of the referee.

Rolland says the team is responding well to the advice given.

He says he will also monitor the Fijiana’s previous games to guide them accordingly.

Head Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says they will focus on their set pieces and scrums as the Canadian girls will be rugged as they are third-ranked in the world, which makes the game significant for them.

The Rooster Chicken Fijiana 15s will take on Canada at 6pm Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium.
