The Fijiana 7’s team edged Olympic gold medalists, New Zealand women's team 12-10 in the final round and dominated the women’s competition of the Fun Flavour Mini 7s tournament in Lautoka.
The Fijiana 7s team had an impressive run in the tournament where they won 5 of their 6 games.
They only lost in the first round 14-12 to NZ.
In other matches, Fijiana outclassed New Zealand 10-0, 17-10, 15-10 and 17-10.
