Fijiana XVs ready for historic match against Wallaroos tomorrow

The Vodafone Fijiana XVs have put in a lot of hard work, and now the focus is on executing that effort in tomorrow’s historic match against the Wallaroos.

Fijiana XVs Head Coach Ioan Cunningham says they have worked on the basics, including improvements in catch and pass skills and also on breakdown work.

Cunningham adds the game will be a great opportunity for the players to express themselves, as it will be their first match on home soil.

He says the main focus is to ensure they execute their game plan effectively, knowing that the Wallaroos are a quality side.

The Wallaroos have played the Fijiana three times previously, and they have a record of 3-0.

The Wallaroos are also looking to start their 2025 international season strong ahead of their Pacific Four series match against New Zealand next Saturday.

The Fijiana will host the Wallaroos at 5pm tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium, Suva.
