The Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua defeated the Rhinos Rugby Academy Women's side 38-10 in a test match yesterday afternoon at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

The match gave the opportunity to Head Coach Inoke Male and his coaching team to test the 34-member extended squad before they begin their Super W title defence campaign against Brumbies next weekend.

Male was impressed with the performance of the team but believes there is still a few areas to polish before the game.

He says looking at the overall game, there are some loopholes that they need to work on, but he is satisfied with most of the areas of the game.

Male says next week, the girls will go back to the drawing board to rectify the areas they need to work on and come prepared against Brumbies.

The Fijiana Drua will meet the Brumbies at 1.35pm next Saturday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

Meanwhile, the Fijian Drua will face the Reds at 5pm this Sunday in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition.
