Fijiana 15s and members of the Police Force step up to the plate to save lives by donating blood

Members of the Vodafone Fijiana 15s team and the Police Force stepped up to the plate yesterday to do their part in helping to save lives by donating blood.

Rusila Nagasau, Asinate Serevi and the other Fijiana players were returning from training for their upcoming Japan Tour to donate blood at MHCC.

They were among the 37 that donated blood yesterday outside MHCC.

The Blood Drive which was organised by Leadership Fiji 2023 Team Tagimoucia, Ministry of Health, BSP Life, Sai Prema Foundation and MHCC.

According to the Ministry of Health, 1 pint of blood can save up to 3 people.

Team Tagimoucia Leader, Edwina Chand says the Blood Drive is part of their advocacy for International Day of Charity.
