Fijian Drua stars to inspire fans and students at FNU Open Day

People have a chance to meet their favourite rugby stars as Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players will be interacting with the people and students during Fiji National University Open Day at Nasinu Campus.

Fijian Drua CEO, Mark Evans and renowned Strength and Conditioning Coach, Naca Cawanibuka, will be guest speakers on the first day of the event, sharing their insights and experiences.

Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women’s Player of the Year, Vani Arei, alongside star Drua Men’s players, Mesake Doge and Philip Baselala will also be at the Open Day.

The excitement continues as returning Drua star Joe Tamani, along with Vilive Miramira and Motikiai Murray will be at FNU on the last day.

Both days will feature the players walking through the Open Day Village, mingling with visitors and creating memorable experiences for students and their families.

Drua’s General Manager Commercial, Shane Hussein says they are thrilled to partner with FNU for their Open Day.

Hussain says this collaboration underscores their commitment to nurturing local talent and promoting the synergy between education and sport.

He says their players are eager to engage with the community, share their stories, and inspire the next generation and he knows it’s going to be an exciting and enriching experience for everyone involved.

The Open Day is from the 4th and 5th of October at the Nasinu Campus.
