The Fiji Airways men’s national 7s side will be looking for their first Cup title for this season as they prepare to face Australia in the London 7s quarter-finals.

Fiji reached the cup final only twice this season, that was at the Hong Kong 7s last November and the Hong Kong 7s in March.

Ben Gollings men started their London 7s campaign on a high after thumping Ireland 33-12 but were outclassed and outmuscled by Argentina 40-12 in their second pool match.

They came back firing in their final pool match against Japan, thrashing the Japanese 54-7.

Fiji will meet Australia in the third quarter-final at 9.29 tonight.

In other quarter-finals tonight, Argentina will take on Ireland at 8.45, Samoa will play Great Britain at 9.07, and New Zealand will meet France at 9.51.

The semi-finals will begin at 12.33am tomorrow, and the final will be held at 4.26am tomorrow.
