Fiji has been selected as one of the Best of the World for 2026 by National Geographic’s team of travel experts and Nat Geo Traveller‘s international editorial teams, which serve millions of readers through their magazines and websites around the world.

Designed as a curated selection of options to inspire travellers, Best of the World 2026 includes something for everyone — families, foodies, animal lovers, adventurers and more.

Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Fiji, Doctor Paresh Pant says they are deeply honoured that Fiji has been recognised by National Geographic as one of the Best of the World destinations for 2026.

He says accolades like this not only reaffirm Fiji’s place among the world’s most inspiring destinations but also help strengthen global awareness of Fiji, inspiring more travellers to experience our islands.

Doctor Pant says this acknowledgment celebrates not only the breathtaking beauty of our islands, but also the warmth, culture, and spirit of our people that make every visitor feel at home.
