Fiji needs to match the physicality of Samoan forwards - Rahiman

Our top rugby commentator Antonio Rahiman

Our top rugby commentator Antonio Rahiman says the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will have to match the physicality of the Samoan forwards and contain their fast wingers.

Rahiman says Samoa has been using their forwards effectively to draw in defenders at the breakdown before quickly recycling the ball to wingers.

He says Va’a Maliko who has scored seven tries in the tournament so far has been lethal and needs to be marked well.

Rahiman adds discipline has not been an issue for Fiji and they need to keep the momentum going.

In the semi-finals, Fiji will play Samoa at 9.44am while Argentina will face Australia at 10.06am today.

The final will be played at 12.58pm today.
