Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Team Coach Gareth Baber says they were rather unfortunate in the final of the Los Angeles 7s against South Africa but they have left that behind and the team is now focused on the job ahead.

Baber says they have taken a lot of learning from the match against South Africa and will ensure it is not repeated.

The coach says that Suliano Volivolituevei has been knocking on the door for long and this is his opportunity to shine.

Baber adds that they will definitely miss their services of Aminiasi Tuimabaand Livai Ikanokoa but there are players who can rise up and perform on the given day.

Fiji's first pool match in the Vancouver 7s is against Wales at 7.37am tomorrow, they will face Canada at 10.49am tomorrow in their second pool match and battle France at 2.33pm tomorrow in their final pool match.

The Cup quarterfinals will begin at 6.19am Monday, the Cup semifinals will start at 10.14am Monday and Cup final will kick off at 1.28pm Monday.
