Fiji faces in-form Great Britain who are yet to concede a point

A tough battle awaits our Men’s 7s team when they face Great Britain in their last pool match today.

While Fiji has struggled to beat Japan and Canada, Great Britain have made easy work of Japan and Canada and have yet to concede a point.

Missed tackles have been one of the downfalls of our team in the first two games.

Fiji beat Japan 24–19 and defeated Canada 28-14. Great Britain beat Canada 24-0 and defeated Japan 34-0.

Both teams have secured their place in the quarter-finals that will be played later in the evening.

Fiji faces Great Britain at 12.30pm today.

In other matches today, Canada plays Japan at 12pm, Argentina will play South Korea at 1pm, New Zealand face Australia at 1.30pm, Kenya plays Ireland at 2pm while South Africa battles USA at 2.30pm.

The quarterfinals will start at 8.30pm tonight, the semifinals will be played from 2pm tomorrow while the final will be played at 9pm tomorrow. Stay with us for all the Olympic Games coverage on our website, fijivillage.
