Fiji Secondary School Football: Defending U19 champion Labasa College falls short against Natabua High

Natabua High School edged Under 19 defending champion Labasa College 1-0 in the Fiji Secondary School Football Competition this afternoon at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

Natabua led 1-nil at halftime.

In other U19 results, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School defeat Vunimono High School 4-0, Tavua College and AD Patel finished 1-all, Vashist Muni College and All Saints Secondary School drew 1-all, Nadroga Arya College beat Korovutu College 3-1, Tilak High School defeated Baulevu Secondary School 3-1, Tabia College beat Rishikul Sanatan College 3-1, while Nakasi High School and Sigatoka Andhra Sangam College finished 1-all.

In the U15 results, Tavua College beat Cuvu College 2-0, while Baulevu High School and Labasa Muslim College drew 2-all, Labasa College beat Vashit Muni College 1-0 and Ad Patel drew 1-all with Nadi Muslim.

In the Under 17 Girls results, Nadroga Arya beat Vunimoli Islamia 2-0, Xavier College defeated Shri Guru Nanak Khalsa College 3-0, Tavua College and All Saints Secondary School drew 3-all, Korovuto College beat Baulevu High School 2-0, Xavier beat Sangam SKM College 2-0, while Ba Sangam beat Central College 2-0.

In the U19 Girls results, Labasa Sangam College defeated DAV College 3-0, All Saints Secondary School beat Pt. Vishnu Deo College 2-0, Amahdiyya Muslim College beat Nakasi High School 1-0, Natabua High School beat Labasa College 1-0, while Tabia College and Sigatoka Andhra drew nil-all.

The competition will continue tomorrow at King Charles Park Ground 1 and 2, Swami Vivekananda College, Nadi Sangam College, and Korovuto College.

The final will be held on Sunday at King Charles Park.
