The Fiji Police Boxing Team are the defending champion, and they intend to let their performance in the ring speak for itself today in the Vodafone Ratu Sukuna Bowl competition.
This was shared by Fiji Police Boxing Head Coach, Viliame Vutikalulu.
He says eight weight categories will be contested over the three day competition.
Vutikalulu, a former South Pacific Games silver medallist and Olympic trialist, says his boxers are fired up for today’s event.
He adds that Jone Davule, Josaia Veiqaravi, and Ben William will be carrying the hopes of the Police team as they head into day one of the competition.
The boxing tournament begins at 2pm at the Police Academy grounds in Nasova.
