As the festival of lights, Diwali, is just a few days away, the Fiji Police Force Headquarters celebrated Diwali with its members showcasing the nation’s rich cultural diversity.
Acting Commissioner of Police, Sakeo Raikaci highlighted that Diwali has a common theme that good always prevails over evil.
Raikaci says Diwali reminds us that by working together, we will surely overcome the dark forces that wish to derail the efforts towards restoring back the confidence of the communities.
He says the Force is glad to share Diwali happiness with the staff and their families.
Diwali will be celebrated next Friday.
