Fiji Pearls names squad for the 17th Pacific Games

Netball Fiji has announced a strong Fiji Pearls squad for the 17th Pacific Games that will be held in the Solomon Islands next month.

Coach Unaisi Rokoura has selected the squad with a mixture of some experienced and young players for the tournament.

Some notable names in the team includes Afa Rusivakula, Alesi Waqa, and Alisi Naqiri who will be making a return to the squad.

The Pearls squad:

Alisi Naqiri, Afa Rusivakula, Anaseini Nauqe, Alesi Waqa Paul, Jimaima Kete, Kalesi Tawake, Kelera Nawai, Maliana Rusivakula, Unaisi Rauluni, Vakaoca Bolakoro, Naviniya Sivo, Reama Verekauta,

The non-travelling reserves:

Alisi Neisulu, Keleti Tikotani and Josephine Nailumu.

The Pacific Games will be held from the 19th of November to the 2nd of December in Honiara.

The Fiji Pearls squad will depart for the Solomon Islands on the 25th of next month.
