As Prophet Mohammed’s birthday will be celebrated tomorrow, the Fiji Muslim League has organised a Jalsa for the public, which will be held at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

Many Muslim communities worldwide observe and celebrate this date.

It is a moment for Muslims to reflect on his teachings and exemplary character.

It also serves as a reminder of the Prophet’s mission to spread the message of Islam, promote peace, and guide humanity towards righteousness.

This celebration provides an opportunity for Muslims to renew their faith, strengthen their connection with Allah, and express gratitude for the guidance provided by Prophet Mohammed.

According to Muslim historians, Mohammed was born in the desert of Arabia on 20 April 571.

Meanwhile, the Muslim League has arranged free transportation from Nadi and Ba for those intending to attend the celebration.

Ba Jame Masjid will depart at 5.30am via Kings Road, while Nadi Jame Masjid will depart at 5.30am via Kings Road, with pickups at Maro Masjid, Cuvu Police Post and Sigatoka Jame Masjid.

The celebration will take place at the Gymnasium from 10am to 12.30pm.
