To promote wellness among civil servants and mark a key step, the Fiji Learning Institute for Public Service has opened a new gym in Nasese.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka inaugurated the facility, highlighting that maintaining good health is a national responsibility and essential for effective service delivery.

Rabuka said this initiative aligns with the Government’s Strategic Framework for Civil Service Reform, which prioritises workforce well-being and human capital development.

The gym supports FLIPS’ “Wellness Wednesday” programme and is open to all civil servants.

Rabuka encouraged healthy lifestyles and urged public servants to make wellness a daily habit, emphasising that a fit and focused workforce is vital for national progress.
