While embracing the new chapter unfolding in the Accounting profession in the country, the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants launched its new logo that embraces a new identity, and a new beacon that will guide us into the future.

While officiating at the event on behalf of the Minister for Finance, Assistant Minister Esrom Immanuel says unveiling this new logo is not merely witnessing a change in design but an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Immanuel says the new logo is more than just a symbol, as it also keeps us at the heart and soul of an organisation.

He says the accounting profession holds the specification that immensely contributes to the nation's development by providing financial information to decision-makers, enabling them to make informed choices and resource allocations, investments and now economic activities.

He adds that the effective use of accounting information contributes to sustainable economic growth, job creation, poverty reduction and other development objectives.

The Assistant Minister also acknowledged the work done by the institute over the years by working closely with the government federal revenue, customer services and other stakeholders and policies impacting businesses, taxpayers and the economy.

FICA President Rajeshwar Singh also acknowledged the effort invested in the FICA's Branding Committee and the Council for providing the institute with a fresh image.

Singh further says they are privileged to have the support of their two major sponsors, Vodafone and Asco Motors, for sponsoring the Organisation as they look forward to the Annual Congress in April.

Vodafone and Asco Motors also handed over a $60,000 cheque each to the Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants.
