As the Fiji Homecoming concert concluded last night at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park, thousands of people will have the memories of witnessing Fiji’s very own world-renowned singer George “Fiji” Veikoso along with a few other chart-topping artists performing live stuck to their hearts.

The once-in-a-lifetime event took Fiji by storm with people posting online about their experiences at the show and expressing a lot of emotions.

With artists like Maoli, J.Boog, Justin Wellington and Josh Tatofi to name a few performing in Fiji for the first time, people of all ethnicities felt it was worth every penny they spent to attend the event.

Deputy Prime Minister Manoa Kamilamica, who also attended the concert, says it was a concert and performance for the ages.

Kamikamica says that for those who were fortunate enough to attend the George concert, it was an emotional, inspirational, and uplifting experience.

He says George “Fiji” Veikoso did not disappoint as he sang for 90 minutes straight.

He says the concert also showcased Pacific talent to the World.

Kamikamica says he is so proud of Veikoso and what he has achieved and hopes his music and talent will inspire us all.
