In a light-hearted exchange that captured the essence of Fiji’s friendly and caring spirit, a simple request for a bargain from three students turned into a delightful moment to end the day for the Fiji Food Truck in Nasoso Nadi.

In a facebook post, Randall Kemea, who is the owner of the food truck, says 3 school girls had asked if there was anything for one dollar and in return, he gave then a burger each for a dollar.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Randall says he was amused by the innocence of the three girls and generously responded with a smile that chicken burgers are $1, the students bought 3.

He says this small moment of generosity had a profound impact on him and his team as they had been struggling with a rough start to their day and took this opportunity to do something good and spread the ‘bula smile’.

Kamea says he decided to share the story on social media as a reminder of the positivity and generosity that embodies the true Fijian spirit.

He hopes this small act of kindness will inspire as the goal of every business is to make money but sometimes there are things that money can’t buy and you should always take this opportunity.
