The Fiji Football Association is hopeful of staging the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers in Fiji next year.

Fiji FA President, Rajesh Patel says they are negotiating with the Oceania Football Confederation where the 11 participating countries can stay in 14 days quarantine in Fiji before the qualifiers begin.

He says Fiji and New Zealand are the only shortlisted countries to host the qualifiers.

Patel says through the qualifiers they will also be able to assist Fiji’s economy.

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji FACT matches will be shown live on free to air channel, Fiji One after the Fiji FA and Fiji Television Limited sealed an agreement today.

You can catch the live commentaries of selected group matches, semi-finals and final of Fiji FACT on Radio Sargam.
