To reaffirm their commitment to supporting grassroots rugby, Fiji Bitter today launched the Fiji Bitter 7s Series, set to kick off in October.

Building on the success of last year's competition, this year's series will feature 12 tournaments across six legs, with each leg comprising two tournaments.

During the launch, the General Manager of Paradise Beverages Mike Spencer expressed their excitement for the upcoming 7s series, noting that their investment this year is $300,000.

Spencer highlighted that rugby is more than just a sport in Fiji and it's a cornerstone of the nation's culture and community.

He adds that by investing in these tournaments, they are nurturing the next generation of players.

Sponsorship and Events Specialist Alfio Tekavei stated that the organization would take the lead in organising the tournaments, ensuring that each event is well-prepared for rugby fans to enjoy.

The 12 tournaments include the Kadavu 7s, scheduled for October 3-5, the Malake 7s on October 10-12, the Mataso 7s on November 15-16, the Yalovata 7s on November 21-23, the Yasawa 7s on December 6-7, and the Wairiki 7s from December 11-14.

Next year's tournaments will begin with the Labasa 7s from January 9-11, followed by the Savusavu 7s on January 16-18, the Nahehevia 7s on February 13-15, the Tabadamu 7s on February 20-22, the Nawaka 7s on March 20-22, and the Marist 7s on March 27-29.
