Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team head coach, Osea Kolinisau says the 7s squad will be finalised today, with a development team set to also travel to Korea.
Kolinisau says the Korea tour follows a Memorandum of Understanding with the Korean and Fiji Rugby Union, which invited 17 teams to participate.
He says this is a valuable opportunity to give international exposure to young players.
Kolinisau confirms that 14 players and three management staff will travel to Korea next week, while an extended squad of 5 additional players will prepare for the Dubai 7s as potential injury replacements.
Kolinisau says with a mix of experienced and new players in the extended squad, they expect strong execution and performance.
The Dubai 7s will be held from the 29th of this month to the 1st of December.
