The Fiji 7s team will be travelling to Australia tomorrow to participate in the PacificAus Oceania Rugby 7s as we build up to defend our title in the Tokyo Olympics.

The Australian Government is supporting the travel costs of Fiji to compete in the tournament, through the Pacific Step-Up program, PacificAus Sports.

A unique new tournament under the Oceania Rugby Sevens brand the 2021 PacificAus Sports Oceania 7s provides much needed high-performance preparation for the regions pre-qualified rugby teams ahead of the Tokyo Olympics.

The event features four men’s and four women’s teams with the national teams from Australia, Fiji and New Zealand and they will be joined by an Oceania Barbarians side in both the men’s and women’s draws.

The 7s tournament will be held from the 25th to the 27th of this month.
