Marist Rugby Club President Lawrence Tikaram

Marist Rugby Club President Lawrence Tikaram confirms that only a few spots are available for the 47th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s next month.

He says all spots in the Under 21 division have been filled, and they will be finalising the teams by today or tomorrow.

Tikaram says only two spots are available in the women’s division, while 15 teams are yet to confirm for the main cup competition.

He is urging teams who would like to register for this tournament to ensure they send in the correct names of their players so they can identify the players clearly and also for players and officials to carry a valid ID card.

40 teams will participate in the men’s division, 18 teams will compete in the Under 21 division, while 8 teams will feature in the Women’s division.

The Marist 7s will be held from the 16th to the 18th of March.
