A father of four is using the Christmas season to sell his produce so he can prepare for the new school year.

Mitieli Kuruilawaki, who is a farmer from Naraiyawa Village in Namosi, says this is a time to prepare for his children’s back-to-school stuff, and people should not be waiting until the last minute.

Kuruilawaki says last week he managed to sell about 3 tonnes of dalo and earned $9,000, which he can utilise for his four sons back to school stuff.

He says during the Christmas season, the cost of school stuff is favourable, and it is a good time for parents to buy all the things for their children.

The villager says even though we are a few days away from Christmas it should not divert our focus from our children.
