Meghan Markle is one of the most talked-about women in the world, with the most commonly asked questions surrounding her involving what she is like behind closed doors.

Fashion designer Clare Waight Keller, former artistic director of Givenchy and creator of Meghan’s royal wedding dress, has opened up about the Duchess, explaining what it was like to work with the royal when creating that iconic Givenchy bridal look.

In a lengthy instagram post, Keller posted about creating Meghan Markle's iconic royal wedding gown, sharing several photos of the Duchess's big day alongside a lengthy caption.

That final story centered around "purity and simplicity," and Meghan's desire for "classical timeless beauty"; the natural symbols of the 53 commonwealth nations were included in the veil "to bring the world into the journey of the ceremony."

She concluded, "It was obvious the significance of this occasion was more than any other, it would be a very personal ceremony with so many choices that would reflect both the bride and groom's heritage and their unique way of being incredibly inclusive, genuine and generous."

Waight Keller's retelling of the design process is very much in line with what Meghan has said about their collaboration. "I had a very clear vision of what I wanted for the day, and what I wanted the dress to look like," the Duchess explained. "So what was amazing in working with Clare is that sometimes you'll find designers try to push you in a different direction, but she just completely respected what I wanted to see for the day, and she wanted to bring that to life for me."
