A family fun day was organized by the Southern Division Community Policing Unit for families residing at the Mead Road Housing Complex and nearby areas today.
Police say the initiative aims to foster better community relations.
The event was supported by the Fiji National Rugby League, Vodafone Fiji, the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre, Ministries of Health and Youth and Sports, Coca Cola Amatil and the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
A march took place from Block 7 and ended at the Nabua Primary School Grounds.
Children also turned out in their respective house colors for the day.
